Hi There: This is my first attempt at posting something on this type of site.
I have set up my IQ 506 and am not able to have it print through my existing
hp laserjet 1100 which is hardwired to my desktop with XP. I am connected to the
internet by wireless and can share the same printer with my laptop. I was hoping
to be able to do the same with this PC. Can anyone walk me through this??

Back of the HP TouchSmart PC
To remove the connector cover on the back of the computer, insert your finger under the gap on the bottom-left side of the cover, and pull gently. Replace the connector cover by aligning the hooks on the right edge of the cover with the slots on the computer, and then pressing it until it snaps into place.

Activity and indicator lights (LEDs)

A solid LED indicates that a card is inserted with no read or write capacity. A flashing LED indicates that there is memory card activity, and that a card has read/write capacity. |

Is anyone having issues wiht impages / background display having sharp dots all over, it seems to be as a result of the hp touchsmart 2.0
I have touchsmart iq506t with vista
It is not dead pixles, the problem seem to go away temporarily when I uninstal hp touchsmart software, then it comes back ..

How do you completely turn off the webcam? So it doesn't show in Instant Messengers and so you can't use it?

Is it possible to connect HP TouchSmart, so that movies can be seen on a TV, I haven't seen HDMI or Video out, on any modles of HP TouchSmart.

Hy there. I have a HP IQ500.uk TouchSmart and is being a while since I am having this problem. The problem is that the screen is flashing from time to time, when I am using for programs such as Microsoft, etc... and when I am in the web. The only time when it is not is when I am watching a movie, etc... I have already tryied recover the system, but it has worked for while and then the problem started again. Do you know if this is a hardware problem or software problem? Also, if you know, do you have any suggestion to how sort this out?

I have a TouchSmart IQ500 Model 524 Computer and i just got a hp USB Hybrid Tv Tuner with everything and there are three USB Ports on the computer when i face the computer the USB Ports are on my left starting from first one on the top second one in the center third one on the bottom which one do i put the USB HYBRID TV TUNER in which port and there is also a USB Cable that go's to the to the Tuner and USB Port can you show me a complete picture on how to hook up this USB HYBRID TV TUNER to my IQ500 Series PC Model 524 the box says on it HP Product # KS523AA#ABA and it states that it Install-uses Windows Media Center. and tell me what else i need to hook up to this unit. thank you.
