Many have discovered that the HP TouchSmart PC is a pretty handy computer for the kitchen, so it's only natural the first (of what will hopefully be many) third-party TouchSmart applications have the kitchen-bound user in mind.

And what can you never have enough of in the kitchen? Timers!

Thankfully, the folks over at frog design have put forth great effort to put a touch friendly kitchen timer right into your TouchSmart Software.

It works just how you think it would. Use your finger to turn on the timer, with a selectable range anywhere between 0 and 60 minutues in 15 second increments. A digital timer display pops up to help you set it, then disappears to give you that classic feeling of a normal timer.
