Looking to try out some of the new third party TouchSmart applications like the new Egg Timer? In order to install additional TouchSmart applications from the TouchSmart Community, or develop your own, you must be running the latest version of the TouchSmart software on your HP TouchSmart PC.

Thankfully, HP has these updates available for download from the HP support site. To download them, visit http://www.hp.com/support and enter the model number of your TouchSmart PC. Select  "Software & Drivers" and your operating system.

HP TouchSmart Application Update - sp40894.exe - Version: 2.0.3126.29817

HP TouchSmart Music/Photo/Video Application Update - sp40893.exe - Version: 2.5.0.2103

HP TouchSmart Touch Optimizer Update - sp40887 - Version: 1.0.10.91.02

Description: HP TouchSmart Touch Optimizer Update improves support for the touch screen on IQ8xx series HP TouchSmart PCs.
