If I understand your question correctly, no, your machine did not come with this update if it was built around March 8th 2009. So if you want the latest version, you need to download and install this one. Just remember, this update consists of only one thing: the HP TouchSmart Application itself. None of the other apps are included. Those have to be downloaded and installed separately.

Oh, you're having a machine built on that day. Sorry. Bit early in the morning. In that case there is a chance it will have build 35, but I'm not sure. You may have to download the update anyway.

Hello. I installed your touchsmartsoftware under Windows 7 on my IQ820. It works great, but which update aplication do I need to keep it up to date?

Shouldn't the HP Update program update all of this for you if you choose update when it appears or when you run it?

Yes, it should. But sometimes updates appear on the support site before they appear in HP Update. And sometimes issues in HP Update itself prevent some downloads to be presented there. It's always worth checking the HP Support website from time to time.
