Yes, .NET takes a long time and don't forget to reboot after the install - we have noticed that sometimes the user is not informed about rebooting and this is definately needed.

1. The speed will be improved in the next release, however TouchSmart PC's with dedicated video cards (25" models) should not experience this slowdown.
2. YouTube blocks certain content from 3rd party browsers, we're working with them on a solution
3. We'll look at speeding this up, but it's due to a limitation in the interaction with the Flash video control
4. No, currently there is no way to connect to subscriptions

the app seems fantastic. I have installet .net - rebooted and then installed the app and rebooted again. Still the app crashes everytime i start the Touchsmart application. Not even starting the app itself. Where can I get support? Im running HP Touchsmart IQ512sc and 64-bit vista. Flash also installet (10).

what is the difference between installing this application or using cooliris piclens ?

Does this work on the TX2Z? I have no TouchSmart Home that looks like the picture number 1 you have on the download page. When I launch MediaSmart it brings up four boxes that let me choose DVD, Music, Pictures, TV, or video. Your picture 1 of 4 looks completely different than anything I've seen on the TX2Z...but I'm new to it yet.

It seems there may be a difference between TouchSmart and MediaSmart? I don't have any program that is labeled TouchSmart.

What type of computer did you install the application on?  Can you still successfully launch the HP TouchSmart software (House Icon located on your desktop)?

Many times the .NET Framework will fail to install correctly but will not inform you of the failure.  Can you try reinstalling or repairing the .NET framework?  Please uninstall InternetTV from the control panel, run repair on .NET and see if this helps.

What about tx2's i am trying to get this app to work with my tx2, i have run into the msi problem then it installed and finished, but when i go into internet tv no youtube. anyone have any ideas??

also is there any better content out there other then the defualt stuff i can add?

but really i think if i could just get the youtube working i wouldn't need much else.

p.s. are there app to allow avchd content to be played by the touchsmart software?

Yes, you are correct and the laptop has a slightly different interface than the TouchSmart computers.  The free download is designed to work on this specific computer and this is why the viewer doesn't show up correctly on the laptop.  If this app takes off additional hardware/software support could be added.  :)
