For those who have not made the recovery disks, they can be purchased from HP.

I recommend to ALLWAYS make a set of recovery disks as soon as you first get your new computer up and running.

That said, Win7 64 bit should run fine on it. There has been lots of discussion in the touchsmart community "groups/windows7" about how to set up your system to run win7. I encourage you to look there becasue there are special steps to follow to get the drivers to work. Nothing difficult but you have to follow the steps.

could you help me out of this mess i am facing with my PC IQ515ch series which is behaving funny of late. After a thorough scanning i realized 30 of my PC driver are either not working or out of date completely. i ever since tried to download the drivers which i couldn't. Please can you help me figure out what's causing the problem and how to fix it. Where can i get the drivers to download?

All of the drivers install from Windows Vista or Windows 7 OR are available from the HP support site, have you gone to HP to download them?

Drivers being "out of date" isn't as a huge an issue as implied, there are plenty of drivers that ship with your OS that will never ever get updated and would have dates going back to 2006

The other question is what are you using to scan them? this is not something HP or Windows does and sounds a lot like a piece of Spyware/Malware that you might have downloaded by accident.
