Hi

I don't have a Touchsmart yet but am seriously considering one for the kitchen (where else?!).  However, this question of accessing music and video which is stored elsewhere on the network is absolutely essential for me, there is no way this purchase is going to happen unless I can make this work!

 So, first, as I understand it the HP-provided apps don't provide any way to play media that is on a network share? This what I've read but would like to be clear, it seems like more than a minor omission!

 But second, what other options are there? I am presuming that normal windows apps will continue to work as before - for playing video I might use VLC, say, or any of a million audio players. Has anyone had any success in controlling any of these using touch - it would be a bit pointless to have to resort to mouse and keyboard!
