Hi, some day ago I tried Win7 with ntrig beta driver on my HP TX2 1050el and.... WOW, really wonderful impression...

Today, for job necessity, I downgraded my OS to original WinVista HomePremium (with recovery DVDs) but... MULTITOUCH DOESN'T WORK!!

Single touch works fine, original driver is installed (v.1,26 - Firmware 4.3.6.8.5 - Soft Pack 1.89) but digital ink (i.e. Tablet PC input panel) and multitouch don't work...

Maybe Win7 drivers updated firmware (and now it's not supported in Vista)?!

Please, help me!!! What's your firmware version? Is mine correct?! How to downgrade?!?

I did your procedure in my Windows 7 RC x64 with Dell x64 drivers.

Now drivers installation show the error "n-trig hardware was not detected on your system"!!

I tried installing the entire Windows again, I tried reinstalling the drivers for Dell and HP, but nothing works!

HELLLP!

Denver i had your same problem... your best bet is to call hp support and tell them it says the hardware was not detected....they will think its a a hardware problem and tell you to send it in, thats what happened to mine but i just took mine to bestbuy and exchanged it since it was only 2 days old

I had this trouble with X86 one... Idk for X64! Try downgrading to Vista x86(with Dell X86 drivers) and repeating Win7 Installation with N-trig driver... It could be a solution!!

If you download the updated win 7 drivers from ntrig directly you get 4 point touch enabled. I just did it and it's much better now that it's working fully.
