Hi all. I just wanted to know if others having the same issues with there Touchsmarts. I recently bought an IQ826t. I love it and setup was a breeze (well kind of if you don't mind 20 minutes to load programs). I have several noticeable issues:

1) The quality of resolution of my music art (in the music tile) on the main Touchsmart page is very grainy. Is there anyway to increase the resolution, or is this universal in all touchsmart machines?

2) On several HP games, such as Agatha Christie: Death on the Nile, the touch capability is lost.

3) The BlueRay resolution is not as great as I had hoped. Still okay though.

Is everyone experiencing these issues, or am I the only one?

The album art uses the pictures that are designed to be displayed on much smaller screens such as mp3 players so it will look stretched out and grainy when you view it as big as it shows on the touchsmart.

Bluerays paly quite well on my IQ816. Although I don't have a BD hoohed up to my HDTV to compare it to. Still, looks much better than DVD's

Sorry, can't answer #2 for you.

What specs are your NVIDIA controls set and does this make a difference in how the DVD and Blueray quality is?

Should I leave the factory settings on the NVIDIA?

I'm running the latest HP OEM Driver with all the Nvidia Control Panel settings set to default.

Since I just bout my HPiq826 2 weeks ago, I would already have the most uptodate HP OEM Driver for my graphics card right? Also, is there anything that I can do to increase the quality of the music srt in the music tile?

You are probably correct that you have the latest driver since yours is so new.

Since I don't dig into my video settings very often, I really can't tell you what to change to make it run better.

As far as the music tiles, it it probably the quality of the image that was used for the album art.  I have seen varying degrees of album art quality, and most are set to display the picture on very small screens.  Since the image is being stretched out to appear on a larger screen such as the touchsmart, then the image will suffer.  I do, however, have some album art that is very good quality and some that is poor quality, but I have my music collection from several ipods, a zune, a couple creative media players, etc, so its hard to say where the actual images really came from, but some are good, some are real greainy.
