Hi Guys,

I bought an HP Touchsmart TX2 notebook about four months ago, and everything's been fine with it (apart from the keyboard not working once, but that was easily fixed). Now though, it seems to have developed a problem. For info, it's running Vista. I have set up the fingerprint log in, and it was working fine.

However, when using the fingerprint reader with both IE and Firefox (both the latest versions), and MSN messenger, it doesn't recognise that I'm even swiping my finger to log on. The passwords and data are still saved to the computer. As a result, I can't use the fingerprint function with the internet.

I can however still log on toWindows at startup using my fingeprint.

 Does anyone know what's wrong?

  Paul
