new hdd is not working with touchsmart

I bought new segate 7200 RPM sata 320 GB sata hard drive but TX2 does not recognise new hard drive. What should be the problem?

I got the same model (momentous 7200rpm 320gb) and it works on my TX2 without any issues.

Are you sure you connected it right?

I think my problem is with the SATA HDD driver.
