Possibly a bad memory stick or a heat issue.
First try removing one of the memory modules at a time and rebooting. You'll be running on half the RAM but should be OK. Let it run for a day or so. If you get a BSOD, swap out the current module with the other and go through the process again. If you still get a BSOD, that almost certainly rules out the memory.
The other issue may be heat. If your fan is not working or your CPU is overheating, it can cause behavior like that. Try the RAM trick first.
An unlikely but possible problem can also be the external power supply. Inconsistant voltages can cause crashes. Not something easy to test for though.
