well, some days ago, i noticed that sometimes after a suspension, i cant set the brightness!!, i cant adjust it using the FN key, and neither in the control panel, cuz the bightness settings just dissapear!, and i have to restart the tx2.. this is kinda annoying.. does anyone else have this problem? if so, i would like to know how to fix thiz

well i read that may be a problem caused by the graphics drivers.. but i dont know..

Does pressing Fn f7 and Fn f8 increase and devrease the brightness?

Looks like you are running Windows7, correct?

Have you tried installing the keyboard and button drivers? (HP QuickLaunch Buttons)

I got the same problem as you too.. it just lose the brightness control!.. upgrade the firmware doesn't seemed to be helpful too..

thats right david, ive intalled all the drivers, as i said, the most of the time it works fine, but after a wake from sleep, it happens, and i have no other option than reboot..

I've had the same thing happen, but not often enough (yet, crossing fingers) to warrant mention.

I might be sending you in the wrong direction here, as this fix was for a different problem, but disabling ATI Catalyst Controls during start up may fix this problem.
