I have just acquired a |Touchsmart and am having the same issue printing - did you ever find a solution?
Hi there -
I have a recently acquired iQ522uk and am busy setting it up to be usable as a kitchen computer/TV. I've worked around most of the obvious issues (networked music and video!) but here's one I'm stuck on and could do with some help.
I have set up a printer - its a shared printer attached to another (Windows XP) computer. I can print to it from Windows applications, it is the default printer. But if I try to print a note from the TS Notes application I get an error "PrintTicket provider failed to retrieve PrintCapabilities. Win32 error..."
Any suggestions?

This kind of problem is frequently caused by applications that do not like to use shared printers that live on other computers. If you attach a printer directly to the Touchsmart PC does the issue go away?

Ink system failure said: oxc19a42 says to turn on and off but nothing more happensSince no one has ever come back to give an update I'm not sure we can help, have you tried hooking the printer up direct if it wasn't already
