Just noticed the sound as well. Funny noticed it just now and i have my touchsmart a month or so! Could that be due to a faulty backlight in ts?

Mine has that little buzz as well. It's definitely a minor issue with either the screen, digitizer, or inverter.

If HP is issueing replacements, then maybe it's not supposed to happen. I just bought mine, so I have a full year to see if this is just a typical noise or if it gets worse.

Post if any other related problems start popping up with your TX2s!

Mine also Makes this noise from the Screen. How can a screen be so noisy? When the backlight goes off the noise Stops

That statement makes me thing the problem is coming from the inverter board - the part that controls and supplies power to the backlight.  If the laptop is new, you should try to either return it or get it repaired.  If not, it will only get worse and the backlight will eventually die.

The buzz is annoying at times, but the fan drowns it out, so i ignore it for now...

Nope. reduce screen brightness to 60% or so and the buzz will go completely.
