The software is only designed to be installed on Windows Vista. It was not tested on Windows 7 (obviously, Windows 7 wasn't even in early alpha milestones at the time), so trying to run it on Windows 7 is a little like driving a car off a cliff and expecting it to grow wings.
That being said, if you search this site a little I'm sure you'll find some helpful stuff.
Hello there,
I´d like to know if have a way to execute HP Touchsmart application, like photo, video, music, everithing in the same way I execute in Windows Vista. I have recently purchased a HP TouchSmart IQ510BR, form IQ510 family, so, I try to run in Vista compatible mode, but withouth a sucessfully. :(
Anyone know a way to do this?

give windows 7 media center a go though! it works wonders =)
I customised my HP tx2z with:
6GB RAM
400GB 5200rpm Hard Disk
2.4Ghz AMD Turrion Ultra x2 ZM-86
Bluetooth + Wireless N
Lightscribe DVD-RW drive
I live in the UK - But I imported my tx2 from america.

You can download the updated Windows 7 Touchsmart applications from the HP.com support section for your model http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=en&cc=...
I checked, they're all there, you just will need to spend some time downloading them.
