Hello there,

Since a few weeks i've got massiv problems with my touchsmart tx2 display.

The error allready begins on power up. Only one third of my display works correct.

Im on work so i dont have my tx2 here, but i rebuilt the error, so you can take a look at the problem.

if i turn the tx2 on and off sometimes, then  the display works correct again, but only for one or two starts. after that the error returns.

Im using windows 7 on my tx2, but i think that cant be the problem, because the error begins on power on allready.

I bought it on march this year.

Thanks for your help and sorry for my bad englisch :)

The first thing I would try would be to change back to the factory installation of Vista to see if that corrects the problem. (you will need to do that if you ar going to send it in for service, anyway)

Second, if above does not work, then you should contact HP about getting it repaired.

By the way...your English is fine. :-)

I also have this problem. I run Windows 7 as well. It has nothing to do with the operating system since it happens immediately upon startup - before the OS even comes into play. For some reason it works great after it has been on for a few minutes. I suspect when the video card warms up it works properly. After being extremely disappointed in this tablet and the fact that I bought my last four computers from HP only to get turned back for screen and battery issues on this tablet, I am now looking at moving to another vendor. It is sad really because I am really happy with my dv9000.
