Hello. I'm enjoying my new IQ546T, and still tweaking to my likings. I searched the forum, but don't see an answer to this.
I have an ethernet connection behind my desk, so connect to the internet that way, and plan on only rarely using WiFi (e.g., maybe my Verizon high speed card when Comcast misbehaves).
Maybe I'm security paranoid, but would prefer to disable my wireless if I'm not using it.
I don't see either a hardware or software solution for this, and the only way I can find right now is disabling the WiFi card in Device Manager. Is there an easier, cleaner or more elegant way of doing this?

when you are connected via ethernet, the wifi should disable by default, if not, heres how to do it.
Right click on the "network" icon on your desktop and choose properties.
In the properties menu under tasks, choose "manage network connections".
Right click on the icon for "wireless connection" and choose disable.
