It says on the warranty that only people "HP approved" are allowed to tweak your hardware to not void the warranty. Frankly I'm afraid of installing a new graphics card by myself because I don't wanna screw anything up.

Is it easy like any other CPU?
Who is authorized to work on these computers (any big stores I could take mine into?)(Live in WA state)

Thanks for any help

No, it's not easy. Plus, you'll have a hard time finding a new CPU or graphics card that will work well. These machines are not designed for upgrading like regular "tower" PCs. Search these forums a bit more, and you'll find plenty of discussion around this topic.

I talked with a guy from HP and he said my particular version was upgradable.
Thanks I'll search around a bit more.

There are very difficult to do exceptions, but you generally cannot upgrade the graphics card. The only things upgradeable on the IQ500 series are the memory and the hard drive. See the manual here: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01490909.pdf
