Depending on which version of the Music app you have, it may or may not support picking up music from a network drive.
hi there
yesterday, i've bought an hp touchsmart iq515. i tried to add my musiclibrary into touchsmart music. first, i added my library to WMP, no problem so far. when i go to hp music, only the example music is shown. i tried the same with itunes, no success....
my library is stored on a MyBook from Western Digital, connected to the network. with the ms media center it's working, but i like to use the hp software... how can i add my music to the hp software?

Is there a version of the Touchsmart software that supports picking music from a network drive?

I believe the version that ships with the IQ84x and IQ54x series supports it, but I'm not 100% sure.
