Hi,

I've just gotten my TX2-1115AU. Can't find where the webcam software is. Didn't see a webcam button at the MediaSmart icons. Tried the webcam on MSN and it works. Please help me out. Where should I look?

Hi,

I don't have the cyberlink youcam. I only have the cyberlink DVD suite, Label Print, Power 2 Go, and Power Director. I can also access the webcam from Power Director, but only to record videos.

How can I get this software? Was is supposed to be provided byt the seller?

Its usually bundled software with the tablet. However, I really don't use it much as it looks more like a "bells and whistles" thing. I can make hearts around pictures of myself and blur things up and lots of other nice things but it really doesn't do much as far as webcam software.
The webcam should work just fine with AOL messenger, Windows Live Messenger, skype, etc.
was there something in particular you needed teh software to do other than what the messenger programs will do?

When you mention "by the seller" are you referring to an ebay seller, private seller or more like a general retail outlet or HP? Is it new or used.

I bought this laptop at some consumer electronics chain store and its new. I was curious because I thought the webcam was supposed to come with the software and had no idea how to open it. I guess the people didn't include the software for me when I bought this. I think I'll go there and ask them out. Thanks a lot Dave! And its cool you won your touchsmart, I wish I won mine too!
