If the dvd player keeps opening you might have a trojan virus.
Use a good scanner or a few different one's and see if they find anything.
It's been my experience that dvd players opening is common thing they do.
Can anyone help.
I've had my touchsmart tx2 for 6 months and last month the key pad locked, nothing would unlock it so had to do everything by touch screen, ok for general day to day stuff. Then the dvd player kept opening. it went back, a new key pad fitted and a new dvd player fitted.
Ok for one week and its happened again!!! help. Any advice

Try scanning with http://www.safer-networking.org/en/home/index.html and http://www.superantispyware.com/. Both have crushed some nasty spyware in the past for me. Btw, I know of several "prank" computer programs that can do exactly what you're describing so make sure no one is doing this to you intentially. Look around in add/remove for new programs.
