Hi Guys.

I have the HP Touchsmart IQ820 desktop PC, its on Windows Vista 64-bit.

I have recently had my PC sent into HP for repairs, and their service is disgusting! They actually damaged my PC further, and tried to get me to pay for the bill as they said the damage is that bad its now out of warranty. It took them 5 weeks to fully ammend my PC so its like new again. But anyway, the reason I had my PC sent off was because it kept crashing, my PC would freeze for about 1 minute, then I would get a blue screen and a message saying 'collecting data for memory crash dump' and I could not get my PC back on after this. It wouldn't let me do a system restore or a format.

Earlier today, my PC has crashed several times yet again! luckily, its now on and staying on but for how long?

When I finally rebooted the PC, it done a startup repair, and it also disabled my Norton anitvirus which I had to sort out all over again.

Why does my system keep doing this? Any ideas? Is it Windows Vista causing the problem?

Thanks peeps,

Dan
