Hello,

I bought an IQ520 about 2 weeks ago. From the start, it appeared to be a bit slow when I'd run more than 1-2 applications at the same time, but as time passed it has gotten worse. I used procexp to monitor the percent of CPU consumed, which would go up to 90% when I was only running firefox, a game and VLC media player at the same time. Even with only firefox running, the CPU usage goes up to 20-25%. In several occasions, when I've tried closing programs I get the blue screen.

I've contacted online support twice and they reccommended that I remove some start up programs, scan my hard disk drive for errors or viruses, perfom a defrag, clear the desktop from icons, disable windows aero (!), etc (I repeat: this pc was purchased 2 weeks ago). Of course none of these worked.

So, does anyone else ever had/ has this problem ? Any idea what might be causing it?

It's a 64-bit machine which runs vista home premium
