Don't think so, everything turns off when it is sleeping or off.

Wake on LAN is something that a network card has to have support for. To my knowledge no wireless card supports it. Actually to the best of my knowledge it wouldn't even be possible to do over wireless.

I would think that if any notebook had that enabled it would be a drain on the battery when sleep/hibernate/off.

I think it actually does have this feature, though I've been unable to find a way to turn it off.

The reason I believe it does is this. I turned on my xbox to stream movies from my dlna nas and when I go to the vid section to choose it the laptop came on. I shut it down and as I went back to the main selection menu (where it scans for sources) it came on again.

This is actually the reason I came to this forum in the first place, to find a way of stopping it from happening.

Not true at all.  I had a PC that had that feature on a Wireless G card.  Worked perfectly.  As long as the LAN card stays on to relay the WOL Signal....does not matter if it is wireless or not....it will work.
