only use Windows 7 default rtm drivers for the ati hd3200 (Microsoft's wddm 1.1). ati's newer drivers mobility catalyst 9.7 and 9.8 are extremely buggy:

Hey,
Anyone else who has put win7 on their tx2z had issues with the computer not recovering from going to sleep? Every time I put my computer to sleep either by clicking on it from the start menu or closing the lid while in battery, it will not come back up with the display. I see the computer itself wakes up, hard drive activity, fan activates with CPU useage, but nothing on the display.
I am using the lastest win7 ATI HD drivers for the card, guess maybe I should try and install the vista ones and see if that gets the display to work, but seeing if anyone else is experiencing this and found a solution I am overlooking here.
