If you leave it running for a while, does it change at all? If you don't use all the touchsmart programs, you can hide some of them using the Personalize button. In the Personalize screen, toggle the buttons so the programs you don't use much are not highlighted (you should be able to tell whether a program is highlighted or not by trying to toggle the buttons).
Having lots of photos, pictures and music also adds to the sluggishness, since the programs have to build a catalog of all your stuff at first. If you leave the programs running for a while they get a chance to build the catalog, and subsequent starts should be better.
Hi well, im a proud IQ10 owner. The normal version of the computer works perfect, it's fast, it's smooth, i like it. But when I open the touchsmart pannel, it's very slow.. Like it moves with very low FPS, it's working.. but very slowly.. I have a lot of photos and cds.. Maybe that's the cause? Is there a way I can enhance my touch experience? Thanks you guys.
