Well i just got my tx2z-1020us from hp because a issue with missile and loose buttons, well they reimaged my drive and i upgraded to vista ultimate and ran all updates, installed comodo and office 2007.

Now for some odd reason when i press the rotate display button on the screen, it goes blank, and force to restart because i can't tell if it crashed or not, when i relog back in after a restart it displays the login screen under a different rotation then goes back to normal after i log back in. Any ideas?

If i rotate under the mobility center (initiated by the button on the screen bezel) it rotates fine.

I really dont want have to do a recovery and have to reupgrade the os, or even do a clean reinstall.

Had the same problem, was caused by Comodo Defense+, turned down the prompt level a notch and all working fine now.
