Cool review =)

The reason for the dual microphones is because its an array which can then perform background noise-canceling/filtering. It is a very nice feature since it improves your voice recording quality immensely vs standard single microphone input.

To be honest, I find that it does not work so well. I often get feedback if I talk just a little too loud. Any fix for this, not oriented in the RealTek manager?

New HP RealTek drivers have Andrea Technology for this purpose (http://www.andreaelectronics.com/index.htm) Find them on your model's HP drivers download page.

The last HP drivers denoted in the drivers date back to February, of which I have downloaded, and they do not fix the problem.
