Hi, when I connect my iPhone to itunes, then disconnect it (using the eject button) it all works fine as it should.
If I do the same process a couple more times (over a period of say 10 mins), my PC just freezes/hangs. I have to do a hard reboot (hold power button for 4 seceonds).
Does anyone know why this may be happening?
PC: HP Tx2z
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate

Not sure what to tell you on that one. I use my iphone with it all the time and have not experienced any issues like you described. Just tried it four times in a row consecutively and itunes is still happy.

On installation, there was some message about iTunes being incompatible, so that may be related to your problem.
Have to download the correct version Prototype. There is a 32 and a 64 bit version. The 32bit one wont install on the 64 bit system, claiming incompatability.

I have the same problem with my ipod touch on windows 7 X64 and itunes 9 x64
after connecting the usb cable my TX2 hangs and i have to hard reboot
Unless I was mistake, I've been running iTunes x64. I'm just now updating to iTunes 9 though.
