I got my tx2 from USA, living in Germany. I have a small problem with the keyboard.

 The right arrow key detached from keyboard some reason when taking the laptop to camping. I got it managed to have it repaired so I can use the key with high pressure but thats no ultimate solution. 

So I am wondering where I can get cheap replacement for either the key or the whole keyboard. An offer here in germany was about 160 € which is to expensive for me. Also sending the tx2 to USA  for warranty would take too long for this issue.

 So someone here who knows a cheap offer? Perhaps I can make use from keyboard of another (older) model using the same parts as the tx2. Would also be glad with a german keyboard but don't have any problems with the american one.

I have found the replacement keys for as low as $3.99 on both ebay and on the web. Good luck!

I also got mine from US, but I am considering changing the keyboard to swedish, so I might soon have a spare US-keyboard for sale. I will get back to you if I decide to change, its about two months old - as good as new!

I got a similar issue - the key retainer of the left ALT key broke.

Do you have any idea where I can get another one?

The key itself is still intact.

I live in Germany and so need a shop or someone who ships to Germany and doesn't bill more than a complete new device would cost ;)

this is the company that was able to send me a replacement:

I contacted the guy at info@individualkeys.com because they didnt have any listed for the tx2.  But he did tell me which one looked like it was the same (and it was).  Hope this helps

Hi,

I just talked to james at the formally known as individualkeys.com, and i was able to get keys for the TX2, $4.95 each, not so bad. For anyone else who needs keys in the future, thought I give you a heads up, they have changed there site to www.replacementlaptopkeys.com. Hope you dont have to use there service, but if you do. you know where to go.

tx2 keyboard is same with hp mini keyboard. only ebay sell key replacement. the new tx2 keyboard now is cheap from $15.00 - $30.00 only.many colour released. can buy glossy one both same price. can get it now from ebay and alibaba store. good luck
