I don't know what CamCue is, but there is the possibility that your friend has a newer version of the TouchSmart software that includes putting a frame around pictures, whereas your system doesn't have that software feature.
I am new here - but have had my TS IQ506 since January (admitting I haven't used it much outside of windows....)
A friend just bought on and for some reason I think we went on Video Tile, took a picture and could put a 'frame'/'border' around it.
I went home to mine and I don't have that option....
Does anyone have this or am I mistaken with CamCue???

oops - I meant YouCam...
And that's exactly what I was thinking, so went and got the latest TS software and TS video/photo but still nothing.
I will check what version they have definately - just hoping someone here would know for sure because HP online chat guy was unaware that video could do that.
BTW - my HP TouchSmart Media reads 2.5.0.2103
-- and that's the latest HP has on their site to download.
If there's a new version, are we eligible to get it or is that upgrade for a fee?

That's the latest version that was posted as a free upgrade. So it is most likely that your friend has newer software which was not made available for download/update.
