How do I get the weather feature to display the weather in my city? Do I have to register for an account through a weather website?

Keeps going back to Cupertino?
here's a great thread on it.. http://www.touchsmartcommunity.com/forum/thread/234/Weather-keeps-defaulting-...

Since normally all you have to do is modify the weather entry to use your zip code.

No, if you are in the United States, all you have to do is change the settings for the weather tile to use your zip code or location name (like Diane said). If you are outside the U.S., you shouldn't even see a weather tile, since the service is only available for U.S. systems.

The latest update for HP TouchSmart (2.8) should fix the issue with weather reverting back to Cupertino (which is where the software was developed, in case you're wondering why it reverts to that particular place).
