Could you guys please recommend what is the best screen protector for the HP Tx2?

I've read reviews about what is the best screen protector but the review / ranking from Gottabemobile is a year old or so.

They listed the Photodon and the Clearvue as their top protectors.  What has been your experiences with these protectors?

If you're using a different one, what is it and how is it performing?

Thanks in advance!

problem is that the touchscreen is conductive and not resistive. This means that it HAS to feel your finger before it will work.

If there IS such a protector.....let me know.

Well the deal is that the Dell XT Tablet has Capacitative touch, not conductive, and I've found a thread in a forum that XT owners say that Screen Protectors DO WORK on the XT Tablet.

The HP Touchsmart Tx2 also has Capacitative digitizer, so logic would say, those Screen Protectors will work with the HP Touchsmart Tx2 as well.

I will post the link to that forum when I do find it, if I remember right, it's a Gottabemobile forum.

I posted this thread to see what the HP Touchsmart Tx2 community has been using for their tablets so I can explore my options.

Good to know. If it really does work well enough I may get one for my Tx2.

Yes, the Dell XT and the HP touchsmart are using the same hardware, ntrig digitizer. Screen protectors work perfectly on these, and I would highly recommend them to prevent you scratching your screen with the pen.

I use photodon screen protectors on mine, and friends and co-workers with this laptop also have taken to using them after my recommendations. Tried a few others to see how they worked and noticed some of the cheaper ones off ebay and such tend to start peeling at the edges slightly after a couple weeks of use. The photodon one has stayed where placed perfectly.

Very easy to install and remove if need be, durable and thin. It does not interfere with detection of finger touches or pen functionality at all.
The company overall seems great and is very responsive to questions or concerns

If you take a quick look through this forum there is an existing topic for this.

Always a good idea to search or look through a few pages of topics before posting.

I received my Photodon Crystal and it works great, I don't notice it at all that it's there. I just wish it was a little rougher in texture so it feels like I'm writing on paper.

Overall, I recommend this SP.

It also lessens the speckling. I've had the Tx2 for about two weeks now and I don't even notice the speckling at all anymore. I don't see what all the fuss was about.

Yah, it does help with the speckling or grainy screen issues a bit. I really hope on the new Tx2 they come out with that they put a better screen on it that dosent look so crappy and has good viewing angles considering its a tablet and therefore not always able to be viewed at the very narrow angle thats needed to not have any color distortion.
