When I use headphones with my iq504 I only get sound from the right channel. Well, I get a tiny bit of sound from the left channel, but it's barely audible. I never used headphones with it before, so I don't know if it's a new problem or not. I tried multiple pairs of headphones. I checked the sound settings, including the balance settings and everything seems OK. I've had the PC since July 2008, so I reinstalled the original audio driver but that didn't help. I still have Vista 64-bit on it, and it is kept up-to-date with Windows and HP patches, etc.

It's out of warranty and not a big enough problem to pay to have fixed, but I was wondering if anyone else had a similar problem, and if you have any ideas on what else I might try.  If it's a physical problem I can open it up and check the wiring, but I'm not sure if I could fix it if i see something wrong inside.
