Yes, from time to time. Why do you ask?
Do HP Experts view this forum and Respond?
I was just wondering.
There are a few straightforward questions in these forums, that an HP expert would be able to answer quickly and definitively, but that doesn't seem to be happening. I was wondering if there was another forum that had that kind of attention. If this is the official forum, it would be good for the HP experts to keep the information flowing.
It may be that the questions are straightforward, but it's possible that answering them might pose issues with HP policies that employees have to follow.
If you have specific threads you can point to, I can take a look.
Actually, now that I'm looking more I do see useful help and responses.
A couple of open examples include the threads on stylus, and 5.1 sound output. It would be nice to get more comments on these. I'll look for others. Thanks.

It's also important to remember that the TouchSmart Community is still very new, and is just getting off the ground. It takes some time to get a great community going, but based on the members I've seen here so far, I think we're off to a great start!

I agree. It reminds me of the early Commodore Amiga user community in the mid 1980's - a truly wonderful experience for me. My first PC was the Amiga 1000 - their flagship computer - and the user groups were absolutely vital and thoroughly wonderful. It, too, was cutting edge technology and we all felt like explorers sharing the experience.
So sad the way Commodore let the community down after the Amiga 2500 came out. Such a heartbreak. It was a great machine in its time.

HP should have a CONSTANT PRESENCE IN THIS FORUM IN ORDER TO ASSURE ACCURACY, RESOLVE UNANSWERED QUESTIONS, AND MAINTAIN SOLUTIONS TO PROBLEMS AND ISSUES.,
I think it would be great for the HP experts to have some sort of tag, signature, etc. some way that we know they are the 'pros'. If they are I haven't seen them but either way thanks for being a part of the community!
I have something in my profile that should help. But realize there is only so much any individual HP employee can do. Big corporations have a lot of institutional inertia that sometimes can get in the way.

It's also important to note that HP maintains their own "official" company ran support forums at the HP website. If getting attention from HP regarding your support matter is important to you, you'd be best served posting those questions there.
TouchSmart Community is an independently owned and operated community site, which can be very beneficial for users who want to share opinions (good or bad; here you don't have to worry about things like censorship), ask questions that wouldn't be appropriate to ask an official support rep (like "How do I rip DVDs"), just talk about whatever is on your mind, or get help from experienced users.
