Movies from those channels are copy-protected ("broadcast flag") and Media Center is built to obey that copy protection. You won't be able to burn them to DVD.
Hey all,
I just got my Touchsmart I500 a couple of weeks ago. I have the TV setup to a Cox Cable set top box so I can record movies on the movie channels (HBO, CINEMAX, SHO, ETC.). However, when trying to burn to a DVD in Windows Media Center, I am getting an error that they cannot be burned due to copyright.
Has anyone come across this? Is there any way to get around this? Thanks in advance!!
