Simply go to your products' Win7 driver download page and you'll find them.

Doesn't show them on the 1270US drivers page. Where did you find them?

October 8, 2009 11:46 AM

there is no 1270us model. choose one of these:

Ahhhhh, HP does care. :D

October 8, 2009 11:48 AM

Yes there is. Tx2-1270US.

But, the page is down, so maybe they are updating it?

Thanks.

Whole bunch of new drivers out, LAN/Touchpad etc..

Are they worth upgrading? What's the diff between the standard W7 ones?

October 8, 2009 9:35 PM

Just updates. In fact, most likely they are the same drivers as the Vista ones, but tested to work with 7.

All of the installation packages say for Vista with the description but the effective date is Sept. 25th.

The only one that really interests me is the usb filter driver, but being that it didn't affect my crappy touchscreen/cursor jumping issues, I'm not real excited. When new ntrig drivers come out, I will be pleased. Otherwise, the only interesting driver is the cat 9.9s.

October 8, 2009 10:00 PM

What does the USB filder driver do?

October 8, 2009 10:03 PM

cursor jumping is fixed by the new HP synaptics touchpad driver

October 8, 2009 10:07 PM

Not when the problem is coming from the touchscreen itself. It registers false hits.

See, I have a choice right now. Deal with the crap inking support the 2.59 ntrig drivers provide, or deal with the cursor jumping around with the in box 7 drivers, and no multitouch.

Dunno but seeing that the touchscreen is a usb interface, I thought it might help.

I was just developing that cursor jumping problem right before the update, for whatever reason I have not experienced it again yet.

Updating the fingerprint reader drivers causes it to be unuseable, fun times. Rolling back the driver didnt resolve it after that either. *goes off to fix it manually*
