What did you uninstall and reinstall? The HP TouchSmart item or the HP TouchSmart Music/Photo/Video item in "Uninstall a program"?
I think I've seen what you are talking about once at a store, but I've never been able to reproduce it.

new to this everything seems to be working fine bar from the music tile this opens but no home symbol to take me out of the tile have to flip through windows key or control alt and delete to close it.tried unistalling and reinstalling.any ideas would be great thankyou

i tried removing the tile of the screen and reinstalling it from the HP website and reinstalled touchsmart 2 to repair the tile but no home button on screen,
