I just recently purchased a touchsmart 506 via ebay (very lightly used).  I have run into a problem while setting it up.  Currently I am unable to access the Touchsmart Music, Photo, or Video software.  I've tried several times to go to the "Personalize" screen and I can highlight all three of these tiles, but as soon as I go back to the main screen, they are not visible.  When going back to personalize, they are no longer highlighted.

I'm wondering if the previous owner might have somehow removed or disabled these programs (they are the only three programs that aren't visible), or if it's simply a bug.  I tried HP Update, but it tells me that my software is fully updated.

Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone have any suggestions on how to add these tiles (or even access the applications)?  Any help would be greatly appreciated as these are some of the main programs I anticipate using, once they're up and running.

There is a Music/Photo/Video update from hp.com @ http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=pv-6647...
If not, check if they are in Programs and Features in the Control Panel?
If they are, try uninstalling them and reinstall from the Recovery Managwr (search recovery in the start menu).
They're all integrated into one portion of TouchSmart, and they are separate from the rest of it... So it should be fairly easy.

Installing the updates allowed me to add all 3 tiles to the main screen. I can now use Video and Photo just fine, but Music simply says "Loading" and will not start up.

Perhaps I'll try to uninstall and reinstall them. At least I have iTunes for now.

Thanks for the speedy advice!
