I have a couple of questions before I decide to buy a TouchSmart:

  1. Has the screen been fixed? There seems to be unlimited number of items on this forum about  it and yet it seems like most of the problems have been solved.????
  2. Does anyone develop Visual Studio Projects on say the 800?
  3. I know it is very early but how is Win 7 as an operating system on say the 800?

Please forgive. I meant in my previous post to say Screen Freezing not just screen.

1. Haven't seen that myself, so someone else will have to chime in for that.
2. I have, and it works fine. The big screen is nice to develop on. Its also nice to be able to play with multitouch on your development system (if you're interested in that).
3. I've enjoyed Windows 7 so far - I put it on all of the systems I have and haven't had much of a problem. I'll occasionally run into a driver problem with the graphics card where the screen will go blank for a moment, but I haven't updated in awhile and it wouldn't surprise me if it was fixed now that Windows 7 is available.
