TouchSmart's vivid, superbright screen is defenitely one of its selling points and a pleasure to look at all day.
However, it would be nice to have an option to dim it down as the ambient lighting becomes darker. Built-in camera is there already, why not use it as a sensor?
Another one of 100+ things that could be improved with a simple software tweak.
Another reason this machine with 10/10 hardware is not getting the attention it deserves because of the half-a$$ed software implementation
In fact, im not even sure this should belong in the hardware section because of the easy fix requires. Mods please free to move this thread
