Hi

Whenever I have been using the touchsmart touch screen and switch back to the windows vista view I always have to change the taskbar properties so that the "keep the task bar on top of other windows is ticked". Does using the touchsmart application take this off by default ?.

Anyone else having the same problem or know hot to fix it.

Thanks.

This is a matter of programming etiquette that is not being followed by the developers. I would say it is a bug in the touchsmart software. Since, they are changing the setting when the application starts, they should be remembering it and setting it back when the app closes. I'm sure they will see this and put it on their list of things to fix.

That is on the list of things to investigate. There is actually code in there to set things back the way they were, so trying to follow etiquette, as JoeS says. What's most likely happening is that the wrong "previous" state is stored away and then applied again when exiting.
