Hey guys, sorry if this has already been answered, but I was just wondering whether it's possible to have both Vista and Win7 on my TX2 so that I can take advantage of Vista's more than 2 touchpoints?

Thanks

Yes there is. Read carefully in the release-notes for the latest N-trig drivers though. They can be found here: www.N-trig.com

Vista itself does only support ONE tocuhpoint. However, you can use two-finger gestures as they are handled by the driver itself.
Windows 7 supports many touchpoints (it may be more than 10).

However, the latest N-Trig driver is limited to 2 touchpoints. The BETA version (which is working fine on many tx2s) supported up to 4.

So your solution won't bring any advantage regarding to the touchpoints.

Is the BETA version that supports 4 touchpoints available to Win7 RTM users? Or only those running the Win7 BETA?

Are new drivers that support more than 2 touchpoints actually being worked on/anticipated by N-trig? Or is this just the way it is unless I go back to the BETA ones?

Yes, they are working. I am using them in Win 7 RTM.

I hope so!

Hmm - I don't know whether you can go back that easily - each driver update also updates the digitalizer's firmware. And there seemed to be problems with firmware-downgrades in the past.
