Since developers can use Adobe AIR to create Windows programs, is it possible to use it to create Touchsmart programs? In time for the developer deadline on the 19th?

Similar indeed... though in his case he is trying to bypass the TouchSmart software, where I want to embed inside it.

I haven't used Air before, but I'm pretty sure you can run an application that follows the requirements for hosted applications. Check that out here. As long as you follow the guidelines, any kind of application works.
