I haven't tested any USB KVM so far. But I found the products we bought at
http://www.raritan.info/ using KVM over IP to be much better approach to controlling machines that are a couple of meters away or even oceans away.
It is not very expensive as compared to that USB KVM that could allow you to connect for more than 25miles... anyway, hope my suggestion help you.
Anyone using any kind (USB) KVM with this machine ? I would like to use it as a desktop replacement, but 20 feet away I have 6 servers in a closet and I need to control them from the "Console" as 3 of them are Fedora 7 and 3 are Win2003 Server.
