So I just got my upgrade in the the mail today, I installed it and I regret it.
I have an the hp touch tx2 500gb hard drive, 4gb ram. After updating the system, it asked me to update the drivers. It's stuck on Step 1: Intalling HP device drivers and applications. I've waited for over an hour and it's still intalling the first driver - hp quick launch buttons v. 6.50.3.1. How long did it take you guys to install the drivers?
Everything is very laggy. It won't even shut down properly. It never did this before the update.Help.

okay, so I fixed it by running the set-up in safe mode. It took less than an hour, maybe even 30 minutes in safe mode to install.
I also ran a windows update (wow, it's important to run those updates, it's working a little better now. It's not slow anymore after updating)
Now, all I'm getting is an "HPUpdate.exe has stopped working" error every time I start up.
