Hey I was wondering if the new HP touchsmart TX2's come with windows 7 touch pack. I heard from lots of people saying they have the touch pack but do not give info on what model they have. If you have a TX2 that came with the touch pack please say what model it is. People tell me that I can just download it online but the thing to me is I think it was built for the beta/build windows 7 version. The model I saw with the specification page that had it listed was the TX2-1380la anyone think that this on 1380-1370 models? If you downloaded the touch pack does it work fine on your TX2?
P.S. The model I am purchasing is the TX2-1370us(only model avilable in my country)

Im 99.999% sure, because:
1. the hardware he "installed" was done at hp, this ended up being a custom at factory unit.
2. I used the factory restore dvds and reset everything, so unless he edited the hp image (kinda doubt that knowledge present)then its with the installation cds. Soo... hp has it.
=side bar, I put 8gb ram in it :)

Im sure it is because it looks diffrent from the tx2-1000 software, I can upload screen shots if yall like. And yay for mac books. Hate apple.... MS all the way!

I hope it doesn't have twitter only cause personally I don't like network socializing and I don't have a Twitter so I guess my Sisters will be on my TX2 alot when I get So will my classmates since our internet is filtered. I checked HP and I'm sure it has it cause the manual online says it comes with the TouchSmart software. And it has Tug of Words (A exclusive Touchsmart game) So im pretty sure it has it since it has a game and I saw a Demonstration of the 1377nr which had the same software listing as the 1370us. Does yours have that new menu where you slide through the Apps and can drag them down if you don't like them up.

Does the touchpack that they included have the Origami package installed?

No, Oragami is an older microsoft interface ment for UMPC's and touch devices, was curious if they updated and included it in the touchpack that is shipping since there were rurmors that they might. Dosent sound like they did, ah well.

nope not that I see and its not mentioned in the windows blog.
=Side bar, just notice, hp did exclude one app: microsoft surface collage, im assuming they did this so people would use the one in the touch smart software

I really domn't care for collage. Does it have all the TouchPack games like Rebound ,Blackboard and the pond oragami thing. Can you list all the Touch pack items they have.

My Tx2Z came with Vista64 .. which I upgraded to Win7 (then clean installed). But windows 7 Touchpack did not come with the Discs that came from HP for the upgrade. From where can I download win7touchpack ? It will be a shame to use this touchsmart computer without the touchpack. I'll appreciate if anyone can send me a download link.

there is (or was) A link on here about a download from another manufactures support site (i think Toshiba) I would check around here a bit and see.
