My HP IQ 770 has a problem with the screen. Once it warms up the screen will go dim then bright then after a few minutes of that it will just go black. I want to get the cover off the back of the monitor but so far I have heald back because Im afraid of breaking it off.

It just snaps on. If you jam a credit card straight into the little crack around the edge of the front you can dislodge it. The cables going to it are very short and need to be pulled out. Not easy, and not for the faint of heart. Here is a picture of one of the snaps.

I think the jtorres thread has more info on this. I mean it is already screwed up, but you don't want to make it worse.
