Hello.. You should think about updating Win 7 as it gives many multi-touch capabilities out of the box. Additionally, new TouchSmart shell works only with Win 7. Please refer to the post below to get more details about new TouchSmart shell.

Hi guys,
For some reason i didn't find this great forum until a few days but i have my tx2-1024ca 10 months already.
I really love this tablet-laptop but i always knew something isn't right.
The problem is my multitouch doesn't work, the touchscreen works only with single touch or 1.5 touch when i want to use 2 fingers flicks.
I read some old threads related to this problem, and i tried to install some of the drivers you uploaded.
I currently use windows vista 64 bit,
and my multitouch versions are:
driver version: 1.26
firmware version: 3.5.8.8.5
software bundle version: 1.89
Do you have any ideas what should i do? should i install windows 7?

Definately recomend Windows 7 for this unit. Night and day difference.
If you need help with the upgrade, let me know. I have a guide for the tx2z's written up that I can send you to help.

Hey Jolly, if you get the time later a good undervolting writeup would be nice, I haven't had much luck with other tutorials.

I will add it to the list of TODO's =) Remember though that that one will be harder since there are multiple processor models, and not all processors will act the same due to slight manufacturing variances.
